Memorial House

Set at the entrance of City Creek Canyon in downtown Salt Lake City, Memorial House was built around 1890 as a stable and storage shed. In 1926, the Service Star Legion remodeled it and it quickly became a beloved setting for weddings, receptions, and community luncheons.
Today it is managed and operated by Preservation Utah. Proceeds support and fund nonprofit programs that protect and promote Utah’s historic built environment statewide.
