Getting There

Memorial House is located at the entrance of City Creek Canyon.
Enter through the security gate to Memory Grove Park, and park anywhere along the street. Just make sure not to leave your vehicle overnight! We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you have time to park and settle in before the ceremony begins.

Attire

Who doesn’t love an excuse to be a little fancy? The venue and atmosphere lend themselves to garden cocktail attire. Think summer dresses and suits.
We’ll be dressed up, but most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable. Please consider this a guide, not a set of rules.

Ceremony

Our ceremony will be a traditional Christian ceremony, including prayer and scripture reading, lasting approximately 45 minutes. We warmly invite guests of all faiths and beliefs to participate in whatever way feels comfortable, and we’re grateful to share this moment with you.

Evening Flow

The ceremony will take place indoors in the Main Hall, followed by cocktails on the patio and a family-style dinner inside, with cake, music, and bar service throughout the evening.

Weekend Schedule

In addition to the big day on Saturday, we’ve planned a few gatherings throughout the weekend to make the most of our time together. We'd love for you to join us wherever you can!

  • The ceremony will take place indoors in the Main Hall at Memorial House. Enter through the main entrance towards the north end of the building off of North Canyon Road.

  • Yes! Children are absolutely welcome. We’re happy to celebrate with the whole family.

  • We’d love to include your guest, please just be sure to let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

  • Please let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure to accommodate.

  • Your presence is the gift! We’re very grateful to celebrate with you. If you would still like to bring something, you’re of course welcome, but please don’t feel any obligation. For those who have asked, you can find our registry here.
